Lyra Kade is a trumpet futurist. Fusing dark electropop with synth-processed trumpet effects, she transforms the instrument into something otherworldly—blending it with mythological themes and visuals. Her performances are part ritual, part digital dreamscape.
Starting her career in visual arts and digital sculpture, Lyra began manipulating trumpet tones with MIDI triggers and granular processors. Her debut work Oracle.exe integrated trumpet with loop stations, synth pads, and projected fantasy imagery. Think Blade Runner meets trumpet choir.
Lyra is known for her full-sensory performances—draped in lights, mythology, and mood. Her trumpet lines become chants, spells, and winds in a storm, using breath, mute techniques, and live FX.
She teaches trumpet and live performance as a visual and conceptual art. Students in her workshops learn how to build themes and visual identities alongside sonic innovation.
