This policy explains what personal information A Bit Much collects, why, and what rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@abitmuch.co and I’ll explain it properly, not in legal-speak.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to abitmuch.co and any related booking, contact or newsletter forms on it. It’s written and maintained by Abby More, trading as A Bit Much, based in Lisbon, Portugal.
What information I collect
I only collect what’s needed to do the thing you’ve actually asked for. Depending on how you use the site, that can include:
Your name and email address, when you send a message, book a call, or sign up for the Monday note
What you write in a contact or booking form, including anything you choose to share about your situation
Basic technical information collected automatically by this site’s hosting platform (Wix), such as browser type, device and pages visited
Cookies used for essential site functions and, where you’ve consented, analytics
How I use it
To respond to your messages, confirm and manage bookings, send the Monday note (only if you signed up for it), and understand how the site is used so it can be improved. I don’t sell, rent or trade your information, ever.
The legal basis for using it
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I rely on:
Consent, for the Monday note and any optional email you leave to receive a free resource
Contract, to arrange and deliver a coaching call or session you’ve booked

How long I keep it
Contact and booking details are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and, where relevant, for the legal minimum required for accounting records (6 years in Portugal). Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Who I share it with
Some information passes through the tools that run this site, each bound by their own data protection terms:
Wix.com, which hosts the site, its forms and the booking system
An email delivery service, used to send the Monday note and booking confirmations
No one else, unless the law requires it
Cookies
This site uses essential cookies to function, such as remembering your progress in a form, and, where enabled, analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings or this site’s cookie banner.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can ask to:
See what information I hold about you
Correct anything that’s wrong
Delete your information, where there’s no legal reason to keep it
Restrict or object to how it’s used
Receive a copy in a portable format
Withdraw consent at any time, for anything based on consent

Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a new date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged more visibly, not just buried in a date stamp.
